Emptiness of the cold bed by the side,

Sending sudden chills with tingling feeling…
Abruptly awoken in the still of night,
Searching about for one sorely missed…
Warmth of hugs much loved by heart,
A sudden strong desire to be kissed…
Tossing and turning my sleep hovered,
Listening to the ticking to the right…
Whispering words that went unheard,
In the dead of cold lonely night
